Douglas B. Cole, age 71, of Delta, passed away early Friday morning, June 19, 2020 in his home. He was born on May 7, 1949 in Adrian, Michigan to the late Robert Cole and Willo (Smith) Cole, who survives. Douglas was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Nicely on February 3, 1968 and together had three sons.
Douglas was a painter by trade, and during his time off enjoyed hunting and fishing. A down to earth family man, he thoroughly enjoyed being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory, is his loving wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann; son, Tom (Kathy) Cole; mother, Willo (Smith) Cole; grandchildren, Brittany; Jesse; Mikenzie; brothers, Fred (Kim) Cole and Scott (Sheila) Cole.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; sons, Michael and Tracy Cole; brothers, Bobby; Kevin and Kent Cole; sisters, Cynthia Tipping and Claudia Cole.
In keeping with Douglas’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted with Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.
