In a special ceremony held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Edon Council Chambers, Duane John Thiel took the Oath of Office as Mayor of the Village of Edon from outgoing mayor Darlene J. Burkhardt. Sworn into his first term as mayor before family members, Mayor Thiel will preside over his inaugural council meeting January 18, 2016.
