A Wauseon man was sentenced on December 6, 2018, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.
Dylan Shepard, 22, of 840 W. Elm St., Apt. 503, pleaded guilty to Unlawful Sexual Conduct With a Minor. During May of 2018, he being four or more years older than the other person, did engage in sexual conduct with another, knowing that the other person was thirteen years of age or older, but less than sixteen years of age, or being reckless in that regard,
Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Shepard to 12 months in prison, and ordered him to pay prosecution fees.
Mr. Shepard was found to be a Tier II sex offender, which requires address registration for 25 years, with in-person verification every 180 days with the sheriff of all counties in which he resides.
