(PRESS RELEASE) – As the weather changes, it is important to remember that pedestrian safety should always be a priority.

The Edgerton Community Pedestrian Safety Campaign is here to help ensure that our streets are safe for everyone.

This campaign will provide free signs for Edgerton residents which promote safe driving and pedestrian safety in order to create an environment where all citizens can feel secure when walking or biking on the roads and will kick off on October 27, 2023.

The Edgerton Chamber of Commerce will be organizing a trunk or treat at the Edgerton Townhall on October 31, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm.

At this event, the team will be distributing free signs for the Edgerton Pedestrian Safety Campaign, first come first serve, so you can show your commitment towards keeping pedestrians safe while traveling around town. One sign per residence. (example above)

By displaying these signs in your yard, you are helping raise awareness about this issue among other members of the community.

To help spread awareness, simply share a picture with your sign clearly visible using #Edgerton hashtag on social media platforms.
