Edon American Legion Makes Donation To Wreaths Across America

DONATION … The Edon American Legion 662 made a recent donation of $1000 towards Wreaths Across America. This donation will go towards the purchase of wreaths that will be placed on Veterans graves as part of Wreaths Across America. Pictured above Karl Mauerhan, of Edon American Legion, presents check to Penny Burlew, facilitator of Edon’s Wreaths Across American. Additional Edon American Legion members pictured are Marvin Gearhart, John Muehlfeld, Jim Van De Voorde, Lynn Skiles and Doug Michael. Wreaths Across America will take place on December 18th in the Edon Union Cemetery then will finish at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Blakeslee.
