Eileen McCoyEileen (McMahon) McCoy, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2015. Eileen was born in Webb Heights, Ohio, which is along the Ohio River. She was one of 10 children who were born to Helen (Ice) and Onward McMahon of Shadyside, Ohio.

Eileen married Richard (Bud) McCoy the day he was discharged from the United States Marine Corp. He fought in WWII. They moved to Marion, Ohio and then to Wauseon, Ohio in 1957.

Eileen is survived by four daughters; Joyce (Lowell) Sansone, Becky Wagner, Sandy (Rodney) Fielitz and Darla (Scott) Mohr. She had eight grandchildren; Gina Gerfen, Jamie (Eric) Welch, Chandra Wagner, LaChelle (Trent) Thomas, Jordan Wagner, Dillon and Riley Fielitz, and Micah Mohr. She had ten great-grandchildren; Courtney, Brooke, and Anthony Werder, Sydney and Ryder Wagner, Macey Alig, Ryan and Adam Welch, and Brady and Mason Thomas. She had two great-great-grandchildren; Blaire Harris and Vincent Werder. She also leaves behind a sister, Eunice (Dave) Bongiorno, and brothers, Jack (Lila) McMahon, and Andy (Pat) McMahon.

Eileen loved her church, Haven Heights Southern Baptist. She will be forever remembered for her ministry of sending birthday cards, not only to her personal family, but to her church family as well. She was driven by the passion of making sure all her family knew God’s plan of salvation as she wanted to see her loved ones again and have the assurance of everlasting life through Jesus.

She and her husband, Bud, once managed Ray’s Bowling Alley. They went on to own McCoy’s Drive In and then built McCoy’s Restaurant in Wauseon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, sisters, Ruth and Pat, and brothers, Onward, David, Frank Leroy, and Wayne McMahon. She was looking forward to seeing her husband, Bud, and all of her family and friends in Heaven!!

Visitation is on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and Friday, October 30, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with services immediately following. Both visitation and the funeral will take place at Haven Heights Baptist Church, with arrangements being made through Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
