Ella Marie Currier, age 83, of Stryker, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Anna’s House at Hillside. She had been a cook at the enrichment center in Montpelier.
Ella Marie was born in Toledo on October 3, 1932, the daughter of Vernon and Marie (LaBute) Sutton. On October 27, 1951 she married Jack E. Currier, and he preceded her in death in 2015. She was a member of the United Brethren Church in Stryker.
Surviving are children; Jim (Rev. Kathy) Currier of Westerville, Ohio, Deb (Ed) Overmier of Bryan, Diane (Vic) Franklin of Stryker, and Kathy in Stryker. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and sister, Barb (Larry) Bernhard of Maumee.
Visitation for Ella Marie will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the United Brethren Church in Stryker, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, with Pastor Nick Woodall, officiating. Interment will follow in the Stryker Cemetery.
