Elva Jean Geesey, 91, passed away May 20, 2023, in Archbold, Ohio where she was a longtime resident. Born in Wyman, Michigan, she moved to Ohio in 1952, and married Paul Geesey in 1971.
She worked for numerous local businesses and retired from Four County Career Center in 1994.
She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Sue Farrell of Edmore, Michigan and Paulette Farrell of Iowa; five grandchildren, Shawna (Ron) Hillard of Montpelier, Corey Buskirk of Six Lakes, Michigan, Steven Farrell and Audrey Olds both of Iowa, and Tia Farrell; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother-in-law, Loran (Sharon) Farrell of Bryan, sister-in-law, Eileen Raymer; and special friends, Jenifer and the Torrance Family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Geesey; parents, Alvia and Marie (Shepardson) Berndt; brother, Robert; three sons, Mike Farrell, Rodney Farrell and David Farrell; and special friend Howard Torrence.
Per Jean’s wishes, there will be no public services. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
