Erica L. Cox, age 41, of Cleveland, Ohio, and formerly of Edon, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Lifebanc in Cleveland where she was able to donate the gift of life to others by being an organ donor.
Erica worked in housekeeping at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Cleveland. She enjoyed attending church, making jewelry and scrapping.
Erica was born on February 20, 1981, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Duane E. and Carla L. (Gambler) Cox.
She is survived by her children, Kiara Bruce and Sam Bruce, both of Defiance, Ohio, and Derrek Fletcher and Madison Fletcher, both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her mother, Carla (Mike) Armey, of Edon; her father, Duane Cox, of Pioneer, Ohio; and two sisters, Hayley Steusloff and Rachel Cox.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Firestone; her paternal grandparents, Orville and Arlis Cox; and a brother, Duane Cox, Jr..
In keeping with Erica’s wishes, there will be no services. Private interment will take place at Osborne Cemetery, Camden, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
