PIONEER: January 21, 2014 – Fayette hit the road on Tuesday, January 21 to face in conference foe North Central, walking off the court with a narrow 42-38 victory.
For the victorious Fayette Eagles, Chandler Sanford stepped up big with 20 in the game, while teammates Grant Schaffner and Jerad Seiler each contributed 7 in the win. Also on the board for Fayette, Tyler Cox hit for 6 while Tristen Bates chipped in 2.
For North Central, Clayton Ferguson led the Eagles in scoring with 16. Dylan Hutchison poured in 9 while Branden Turner chipped in 6; Jordan Reeves had 4, Chase Legacy hit for a bucket while Josh Sawyer rounded out the Eagles scoring with a point.
The win moves Fayette to 7-4 on the season and 2-2 in the BBC. North Central falls to 1-13 on the season while dropping to 1-4 in the BBC
