Four County BPA Members Place In Top Six Of Regional Contests

Fifty-three Four County Career Center Business Professionals of America (BPA) Chapter members recently placed in the top six among the several hundred area students competing in the regional contests held at Bowling Green State University. Thirty-six of these winners have qualified for State BPA Skill Competition by placing first or second in the regional contests. Contest winners who will be competing at State from Fulton County are (LEFT TO RIGHT) Arianna Thebeau (Delta) Business Law & Ethics; Jacob Eisel (Evergreen) Network Administration Using Microsoft; Andrew Canada (Pettisville) Network Administration Using Microsoft; Austin Kempf (Pettisville) Visual Basic/C# Programming; and Parker Wittenmyer (Wauseon) SQL Database Fundamentals. BPA members from all parts of Ohio will be in Columbus March 16 & 17 to compete for awards and the right to advance to national skill and leadership contests. Four County Career Center BPA Advisors are Mary Jo Beilharz, Matt Geiger, Tim Ricketts, and Blake Rockey. Absent from the photo are Shaelynn Barnes (Wauseon) Advanced Office Systems & Procedures; Alyssa Martinez (Delta) Basic Office Systems & Procedures; Anthony Gonzalez (Archbold) SQL Database Fundamentals; and Brian Ball (Archbold) Computer Network Technology.

WILLIAMS COUNTY STUDENTS … Contest winners who will be competing at State from Williams County are (FRONT – LEFT TO RIGHT) Josh Landel (Edon) Visual Basic/C# Programming; Kiley Wilson (Hilltop) Advanced Office Systems & Procedures; Courtney Hartsock (Bryan) SQL Database Fundamentals; Alexandrea Bishop (Montpelier) Financial Math & Analysis Concepts; Tanner Pietrykowski (Edgerton) Personal Finance Management; Dekota Clifford (Bryan) Systems Administration Using Cisco; (BACK – LEFT TO RIGHT) Kassidi Martin (Bryan) Fundamental Word Processing Skills; Griffin Dean (Bryan) Systems Administration Using Cisco; Dustin Teschke (Stryker) SQL Database Fundamentals; Caleb Plummer (North Central) Java Programming; Collin Todd (Hilltop) Computer Network Technology; and Morgan Street (Bryan) Computer Network Technology. BPA members from all parts of Ohio will be in Columbus March 16 & 17 to compete for awards and the right to advance to national skill and leadership contests.
