Four County Career Center Board Of Education Meets For October

The October Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Prior to the 7:00 p.m. meeting, the Records Commission met at 6:20 p.m., and the Building and Grounds, and Policy Committees met at 6:30 p.m. as previously announced.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•September Meeting Minutes.

•Financial statements and investments for the month of September as presented.

•The copier lease agreement for Adult Ed through USBank.

•The 5-Year Financial Forecast and assumptions for Fiscal Years ending June 30, 2017 through 2021 as presented.

•Appropriation modifications as presented.

•Ratify the insurance rates set by the Northern Buckeye Health Plan for the 2017 calendar year as presented.

•“Then and Now” Certifications as presented.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•The resignation of Teresa Karnes, Secretary, effective December 31, 2016.

•Steve Inkrott as Guidance Counselor effective November 14, 2016.

•Additional Certified Substitutes for the 2016-17 school year as presented.

•Chris Badenhop as an “Internal Sub” for the 2016-17 School Year.

•Michele Nafziger as the Club Advisor for FCCLA.

•Lori Yoder as a Secretarial Substitute for the 2016-17 School Year.

•Molly Shea as Adult Ed ESOL Instructor retroactive to September 27, 2016.

•James “Matt” Borsoss as Adult Ed HVAC Instructor.

•Donations from the following:

•Northstar Blue Scope Steel, Delta donated 46,100 sheet steel (23 tons) for the use in FCCC labs.

•Fitzenrider Mechanical Contractor donated a new heat pump unit and a new condensing furnace for the Plumbing/HVAC Lab.

•Bob Roesch donated miscellaneous HVAC parts and duct work to the Plumbing/HVAC Lab.

•Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from:

*Building and Grounds, and Policy Committees
*Directors of Operations, Career Tech Education and Adult Education.

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular November Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m., on November 17, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center. Board Members will attend the Public Safety Service Personnel Dinner prior to the meeting.
