Four County Students Compete In Annual Numeracy Challenge

FCCC Numeracy ChallengeFour County Career Center’s 8th Annual Numeracy Challenge was held recently at Northwest State Community College. Junior and senior teams who placed first and second will be attending the High Schools That Work Regional Competition at Owens Community College on the Findlay Campus in April. Forty-two teams of four students from the career and technical education programs at the Career Center competed in mathematical calculations in a timed setting. 2016 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners from Williams county include (FRONT – LEFT TO RIGHT) Emma Brown (North Central) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics – 3rd place juniors; Tres Loyd (Bryan) Health Careers – 2nd place seniors; Kennedy Nicolen (Bryan) Veterinarian Assistant – 3rd place juniors; (BACK – LEFT TO RIGHT) Scott Goodnight (Hilltop) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics – 3rd place juniors; Garret Frantom (Montpelier) Ag/Diesel Mechanics – 1st place seniors; Mason Locke (Hilltop) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics – 3rd place juniors; and Paishence Bacon (Montpelier) Veterinarian Assistant – 3rd place seniors.
