Fulton Commissioners Approve Money For Wauseon Projects, Tax Rates; Seek Grants For Road Work

THE VILLAGE REPORTER

The Fulton County Commissioners approved a draw of $35,371 for work on various projects for the Wauseon Downtown Revitalization program.
The money was disbursed to:
Bo-Dec, $22,451.96 for roof work at 130 N. Fulton and $12,920 for replacing the old roof at 127 Beach.
Approved rates for the county’s four sewer systems (Airport, Elmira/Burlington, Pettisville and Pleasant View).
Approved amounts required from general property tax as approved by the Budget Commission and the tax to be levied as estimated by the county auditor.
Property taxes from the Inside 10 mill limitation is expected to be $2,007,726 based on a levy of 2 mills.
Revenues from the outside 10 mill limitation and the rates expected include:

Senior Center – $1,347,121 – 1.6
EMS – $240,449 – 0.5
EMS – $4,015,451 – 4.0
E-911 – $602,440 – 0.7
Phone system
Board of DD – $1,650,036 – 2.0
Board of DD – $1,517,118 – 2.0
Board of Health – $501,931 – 0.5
Board of Health – $410,813 – 0.5


Authorized Engineer Frank T. Onweller to seek funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the following road projects:

CR M from SR 64 to CR 5
CR L from CR 5 to CR 6
CR M from CR 22 to CR 23
CR 26 and bridges 21-3A.4 and T23.7

Approved entering into an agreement with Pike Township for the reconstruction of Road M at Road 4 and Road K and Road 12.
The township will be responsible for 22 percent and the county 78 percent. The county will act as the lead agent.
Approved a contract for Emergency Medical Services with the city of Morenci, Mich.
