(WAUSEON) — The Fulton County Board of Elections would like to inform all residents of Fulton County that our office has redesigned the envelopes used for Absentee Ballots when voting by mail. The State of Ohio, and Fulton County have worked with the United States Postal Service to design absentee ballot envelopes that meet the requirements for the most efficient processing through the automated USPS system.

The redesign also reduces cost for mailing out ballots and reduces the cost to the voter for returning the ballot to the Board of Elections.

The redesigned envelopes are much smaller than the previously used style. The white 6X10 mailing envelope is specifically marked with the Fulton County Board of Elections Return Address in the upper left corner, the Official Election Mail Logo in the center of the envelope and a statement “Official Absentee Balloting Material – First-Class Mail” directly above the voters’ name and address.

Residents that have already requested an absentee ballot can expect them to begin arriving after Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
