The Fulton County Commissioners gathered for their regular session on Thursday, August 7, 2025. The meeting opened at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and an opening prayer, followed by roll call.

Commissioners Jeff Rupp, Joe Short, and Jon Rupp were all present. The board began the morning by approving the minutes of their August 5, 2025, meeting through Resolution 2025-514 and then approved the day’s agenda via Resolution 2025-515.

Under old business, the board reviewed the Treasurer to Auditor Balancing Report, the Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources for July 31, 2025, and the Certificate of Non-Compliance for July 31, 2025.

In new business, the commissioners passed Resolution 2025-516, approving appropriations requests for various departments. They then addressed county infrastructure payments.

Resolution 2025-517 approved Payment Request #1 to Gerken Paving under Contract 2025-46 for the 2025 Asphalt Resurfacing Program. Resolution 2025-518 approved the first and final payment under Contract 2025-45 to Ward Construction Co. for the 2025 Seal Coat Program.

In addition, Resolution 2025-519 was passed to approve the Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) Plan for Federal Fiscal Years 2026–2027, effective October 1, 2025, for the Department of Job and Family Services.

The board concluded with Resolution 2025-520, approving a list of purchase orders and travel requests. The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 a.m.
