FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Commissioners Approve Numerous Resolutions

The Fulton County Commissioners held their first meeting of the week on Tuesday, February 13th. The meeting began at 9:30 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer. Commissioners first moved to approve minutes from the February 8th meeting as presented, as well as the current agenda.

Payment of the bills took place next, along with a review of weekly Dog Warden reports for periods ending Jan. 20th and Jan. 27th.

A review also took place regarding the county On-Call policy before moving on to approve the following agenda items.

– Resolution 2024-134 Increase & Transfer Appropriations for Various Departments.

– Resolution 2024-135 Reject Bids for FUL CR VAR PM FY24 Pavement Marking.

– Resolution 2024-136 Authorize Ad for Employment Opportunity.

– Resolution 2024-137 Approve Personnel Request on Behalf of Senior Center.

– Resolution 2024-138 Approve Purchase Orders and Travel Requests.

With no further items to attend to, commissioners moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:36 a.m.

The second meeting of the week for the county commissioners was held on Thursday, February 15th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Minutes were approved first, along with the current agenda. A review took place of an investment report before the following agenda items were each approved.

– Resolution 2024-141 Increase & Transfer Appropriations for Various Departments.

– Resolution 2024-142 Approve Payment Request #10 to Contract 2023-64 with Action Contractors for New Fulton County Senior Center.

– Resolution 2024-143 Enter Into Technical Assistance Agreement 2024-34 with MVPO for CDBG Grant: B-F-23-1AX-1.

– Resolution 2024-144 Approve Legal and Authorize Ad for Pavement Marking on Behalf of Engineer.

– Resolution 2024-145 Enter Into Contract 2024-35 with Geddis Paving and Excavating for Reconstruction of Road 11 between Road A and Road B.

– Resolution 2024-146 Approve Payment Request #5 to Contract 2022-87 with Peterson Construction for Water Booster Station Pump Upgrade.

– Resolution 2024-147 Approve Change Order #2 to Contract 2022-87 with Peterson Construction for Water Booster Station Pump Upgrade.

– Resolution 2024-148 Approve Fulton County Semi-Annual Housing Program Income Report.

– Resolution 2024-149 Approve Personnel Request on Behalf of JFS.

– Resolution 2024-150 Approve Purchase Orders and Travel Requests.

With no further business to attend to, the meeting was adjourned at 9:06 a.m.
