Fulton County Grand Jury Considers Recent Indictments

On July 18, 2016, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney Scott A. Haselman.

Mason M. Johnson, age 20, of Delta, was indicted on three counts of Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance. On or about November 25, 2015 and January 6, 2016, he allegedly photographed a minor in a state of nudity or allegedly possessed or viewed material that showed a minor in a state of nudity.

Rachel L. Ally, age 40, of Toledo, was indicted on one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. On or about January 13, 2016, she allegedly possessed two illegal drugs.

Brian K. Brooks, age 26, of Wauseon, was indicted on one count of Possession of Heroin. On or about February 23, 2016, he allegedly possessed heroin.

Thomas W. Floering, Jr., age 31, of Delta, was indicted on two counts of Grand Theft, one count of Theft, and one count of Theft of Drugs. On or about May 18, 2016 to June 23, 2016, he allegedly stole a firearm, jewelry, and a dangerous drug.


Carol A. Arend, age 53, of Archbold, was indicted on one count of Trespass in a Habitation When a Person is Present or Likely to be Present, one count of Aggravated Burglary, and one count of Domestic Violence. On or about June 21, 2016, she allegedly trespassed in an occupied Archbold residence and allegedly inflicted physical harm on a family or household member.

Lee E. Echler, age 43, of Swanton, was indicted on one count of Tampering With Records and one count of Theft. On or about April 19, 2015 to August 4, 2015, he allegedly tampered with records belonging to a governmental entity and allegedly stole services valued at $1,000 or more but less than $7,500.

Jeffery L. Houston, age 43, of Holland, OH, was indicted on two counts of Failure to Comply With Order or Signal of Police Officer. On or about July 1, 2016, he allegedly failed to stop his motor vehicle after receiving a visible or audible signal from a police officer, allegedly causing serious physical harm to persons or property.

Jeffery S. Boda, age 31, of Swanton, was indicted on four counts of Breaking and Entering, one count of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and one count of Theft. On or about June 17, 2016 to June 22, 2016, he allegedly trespassed in an unoccupied structure and allegedly stole a motor vehicle.

Christopher M. Caughhorn, age 26, of Toledo, was indicted on three counts of Nonsupport of Dependents. On or about December 1, 2014 to May 31, 2016, he allegedly failed to pay child support totaling $4,059.12.

Shannon L. Baumbarger, age 33, of Napoleon, was indicted on one count of Theft and one count of Grand Theft. On or about June 29, 2016 and July 1, 2016, she allegedly stole a firearm and jewelry from a Wauseon residence.


Eric D. Soleau, age 33, of Delta, was indicted on one count of Possession of Heroin. On or about May 21, 2016, he allegedly possessed heroin.

It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
