Fulton County Senior Center Delta Site Moves To New Location

May 5, 2016Updated:November 30, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

(WAUSEON, OH) — The Fulton County Commissioners have recently entered into a formal agreement with Delta United Methodist Church for the services of providing meeting space for the Fulton County Senior Center and Nutrition Site in Delta. Delta United Methodist Church, located at 101 Northwood Drive in Delta, OH, has been a temporary home for the Delta Senior Center since February 1st, 2016 when their former site, Memorial Hall, became in need of repair.

Sheri Rychener, Fulton County Senior Center Director states “This new location is a great fit for the Seniors. We were outgrowing our space at Memorial Hall and had been looking for other locations that offered more parking options.” The new location is easily accessible for seniors, provides ample parking with good lighting and offers many opportunities for seniors 60 and over to interact and enjoy a nutritious and inexpensive meal. “Just recently, our Senior Center choir performance drew a crowd in which we were able to accommodate 65 seniors,” notes Rychener.

The hours of the center will remain the same on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-2pm. For more information, contact the Fulton County Senior Center at 419-337-9299 or visit www.fultoncountyoh.com/seniorcenter
