Deputies from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office were called to the home of David Patterson of rural German Township in Fulton County on February 14.

Patterson, a dog breeder, reported the disappearance of nine purebred German Shepherd puppies with an estimated total value of $7,850.

According to Patterson, the mother gave birth to a litter of ten puppies on February 11. Patterson posted an ad online advertising that the puppies were available for sale.

On February 14, they went to check the building where the dogs were being housed, only to discover an open door and nine of the ten puppies missing.

In an interview with WTVG 13, Patterson said, “If they don’t get the antibodies from the mom that they should, they will be more susceptible to diseases.”

Detective Aaron Gladieux of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office said, “The only thing I can say it’s still a pending investigation. We are tracking down some leads that we have, but nothing has panned out thus far.

Anyone with any information referencing the missing puppies can call the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at 419-335-4010.
