Georgia Lynn Eichner, 49, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away, Sunday, October 2, 2016 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident on September 24th, 2016.
Georgia was born on September 15, 1967 to Larry and Barbara (Vaughan) Eichner. Along with her father: Larry Eichner, Georgia is survived by her — daughters: Amber Paul, of Whitsett, North Carolina; Alicia Wilson, of Defiance; — sons: Richard (Katrina) Wilson, of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Roman (Kaitlyn) Osborn, of Van Wert; Jesse Brown and Jerry Brown, both of Liberty Center; — sisters: Janice (Steven) Osborn, of Ohio City; Sandra Hepker, of Pittsford, Michigan; — Step-Sister: Toni (Gayland) Mitchell of Bryan; — Step-Brothers: Terry (Dena) Filip of West Unity; and Todd Filip of Wauseon; 7 grandchildren and a host of loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Georgia was preceded in death by her mother: Barbara in 1991 and her step-mother, Susan in 2007.
Georgia was a 1985 graduate of Liberty Center High School and a member of the Colton United Methodist Church. She owned and operated Marie’s Berries and Blooms Greenhouse in Liberty Center, Ohio. Her knowledge and hard-work ethics (from growing up on her family’s farm) allowed her to run a successful business. She put her talents of design into her products which reaped many loyal customers.
In addition to being a successful business woman, Georgia was a mother and “the glue” of the family.
She was known for her exquisite orchestrations of family gatherings; during the holidays and all family events. Along with her incredibly beautiful decorations, her home baked dishes and elaborate desserts made all family events feel extra special.
Georgia loved gardening, genealogy, canning fresh produce, baking and decorating cakes.
Georgia’s love for her family along with her laugh and the ability to make everyone she knew feel special and loved will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Funeral Services for Georgia were held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 12:00 Noon, with Visitation beginning at 11:00 AM in the Colton United Methodist Church, Colton, Ohio 43510. Burial followed in Heath Cemetery.
