Kimberly Stuckey spoke to the Stryker Rotary Club about her “gold project” in Girl Scouts. Kimberly is a member of the Girl Scout Club in West Unity. Kimberly’s project has several phases of which some have been completed. She did landscaping work in several areas around the village. She updated landscape at two of the village signs as well as at the town hall. In addition she worked on several planters in the village. She displayed before and after pictures of the work that was completed and Rotarians commented about how well the work was done. Kimberly gave credit to the people at “Plants Plus” in Archbold for giving her some direction and ideas. She estimated the cost of the work to date to be about $1,200. Her project also includes putting together a scrap book about the history of Stryker Village. Several of the Rotary members are also member of the Stryker Heritage Council and offered to assist her with information for the scrapbook. She is also working on getting banners that will be displayed on the poles in the village, and still working on the details of a community service project. Kimberly Stuckey, pictured on the left, spoke as a guest of Stryker Rotary Member Judy Keller.
