Wauseon, OH — Thanks to the help of local contractors and many generous volunteers and donors, the new Gospel Music Building at the Fulton County Fair is nearly complete, providing fair-goers an ideal place to enjoy inspirational music for years to come!

“Since our ground-breaking event late this spring we’ve been working diligently to keep this construction project on track to ensure the building would be finished in time for the Fair and we’re thrilled that we have met that goal,” shared Nancy Krieger, Fulton County Music Ministries Board President. “The outpouring of volunteer help from people throughout the region has been truly humbling. Volunteers of all ages and skill levels have shared their time and talents to make this building a reality and for that we say thank you!”

The new Gospel Music Building is 40 ft. X 60 ft. With a 10 ft. Overhang on each side. With a framed construction, metal siding, wood interior, acoustic ceiling and overhead doors on three sides, this building is an ideal open-air space for musical performances at the fairgrounds.

The public is invited to attend a special dedication ceremony on Sunday, September 6 at 2 o’’clock to celebrate the opening of the Eunice Tedrow Gospel Building. The short dedication ceremony will include words of inspiration from local clergy, board members and even special music by OBB (Oswald Brothers Band) and Beyond the Ashes. “While the construction is nearly complete, there is still plenty of work to do. From painting and landscaping to other small interior details, we’ll be busy, but we’re going to be ready for the Fair,” Krieger added. “We also want people to realize that our fundraising efforts are ongoing to help pay for this lasting gift to the region. We appreciate the support from so many local people, churches and businesses and feel confident even more people will choose to get involved once they see what a great asset this building will be in our community.”

Tax deductible donations can be given to the Fulton County Fair Foundation.

For more information on how your church or members of your congregation can get involved visit the Fulton County Music Ministries website or contact an organization board member.

The Fulton County Fairgrounds are located at 8514 State Route 108, Wauseon, Ohio, just ¼ mile north of Ohio Turnpike Exit 34. For more information about the Eunice Tedrow Gospel Building, making a donation, or volunteering to help with the project visit the FCCMM website at www.fccmm.org
