Growing Hope Ministries emerged from a 2011 mission trip to Haiti where a group of Northwest Ohioans visited an orphanage. It was after witnessing the lack of necessities and living conditions of these children that Growing Hope Ministries was formed. Today, Growing Hope Ministries supports 22 children by providing them with a safe home, food, water, medical care, and even education.

One of the fundraising events for Growing Hope Ministries is the Giving Tree.  This is the first year for the Giving Tree located at Lugbill Supply Center in Archbold, Ohio. The Giving Tree has a list of items (from school supplies to beds) at different price points. Pick an item from the tree, make the purchase, and return the gift to Lugbill Supply Center. All donations are tax deductible and go towards caring for the children. The Giving Tree will be at Lugbill Supply Center through Dec. 31st.

Throughout the year, you can also help support the ministry by sponsoring one of the children. This can be done through a one time or monthly donation, giving a donation to support the day to day operations of the home, or even traveling to Haiti with Growing Hope Ministries.
