Archbold 4 Liberty Center 2
After a scoreless first three innings by both teams, Archbold broke through with four runs in the fourth on their way to a 4-2 win. DJ Newman paced the Archbold attack with three hits and an RBI while Caleb Hogrefe added a double and RBI.
Fairview 11 Delta 1 (5 innings)
The Apaches pounded out 13 hits led by a 3-3 game from Ronnie Adkins to roll past Delta (6-18) 11-1. Hunter Hamilton, Chase Stickley, and Jayce Helminiak each had a single for Delta.
Lake 8 Swanton 1
The Bulldogs (3-24) jumped on top with a run in the first, but the Flyers responded with the next eight runs, including five in the third, to pull away for an 8-1 win. Garrett Swank and Blake Szalapski each singled to account for the Swanton hits in the game.
