Montpelier 66 Lakewood Park Christian 64

AUBURN, IN – Montpelier (3-6) went 11/14 from the free throw line in the final frame to holn on for a 66-64 road win.

Montpelier’s Garrett Walz poured in a game-high 26 points to lead the way with Brayden Brink adding 16 and Grant Girrell added 13.

DEFIANCE – The Indians (7-5) locked down Defiance (1-9) as they held them to just seven field goals on the night, including zero points in the fourth quarter to roll to a 53-18 win.


Wauseon senior post player Hayler Meyer topped all scorers with 23 while Mackenzie Stasa added 13.

SWANTON – The Green Bears pulled away in a defensive battle with a 12-4 advantage in the fourth quarter to get a 34-22 victory at Swanton.

Emma Crow topped Swanton (6-4) in the low scoring affair with six points, all in the first quarter.

ARCHBOLD – The Bluestreaks opened the new year with a win by outscoring the Tigers (5-6) 12-4 in the third to break a 21-21 tie at halftime for the 49-42 win.

Archbold (7-4) was able to survive a 14/26 performance at the charity stripe led by 13 points from Leah McQuade and Carly Grime with 12.
