SOFTBALL

Bryan 8 Edgerton 6

BRYAN – The Golden Bears upped their record to 8-2 after an Addie Arnold walk-off grand slam in the seventh propelled Bryan past Edgerton 8-6.

Arnold, who went five innings in the circle with 11 Ks, was 3-4 at the plate adding a single, a double, and racked up five RBIs on the night.

Lola Giesige was the Bulldogs’ top hitter by going 3-4 on two singles and a double.

Elisabeth Rochefort went 3-3 with a home run and two doubles for the Blackbirds.

PIONEER – The visitors from Fayette took an early 1-0 before North Central put up 15 unanswered runs to stay unbeaten in the BBC.

Sam Wheeler smacked three hits with an RBI for North Central, Zach Hayes doubled twice and drove in three runs, and Colton Hicks added a double and three RBIs.
