The Lady Locos battled back by winning the final two sets to earn a 25-21, 26-28, 19-25, 25-21, 16-14 victory over Edgerton. Ariel Page paced Montpelier with 17 kills, Chelsea McCord added 11 kills, 16 digs, Cadey Hillard racked up 25 digs, and Kelsie Bumb tallied 26 assists. Sadie Walther went 40/42 hitting with 12 kills for the Bulldogs and Taylor Smith was 96/96 setting and registered 29 assists.

The Lady Panthers began the season with a 25-4, 25-15, 25-12 win at home over Fayette. No stats were reported.

Bryan 158 Pettisville 195
Drew Dauber carded a 34 (-2) and Noah Huard shot an even par 36 as the Golden Bears beat Pettisville at Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon. Nate Hess was the third Bryan golfer to break 40 in the match as he fired a 39 and Colin Shirkey completed the scoring with a 49.
Blayn Meck topped the Blackbirds with a 46 followed by Caden Bishop (48), Sam Myers (50), and Tobin King (51).
Hilltop 181 Delta 213 Fayette 218
Jaime Chester, Ella Calvin, and Avrie Johnston each fired a 45 to lead Hilltop over Delta and Fayette and Patriot Hills Golf Course. Elijah Kuszmaul posted a 46 to round out the Cadets total of 181.
Gavin Cousino was low man for the Panthers with a 46 while Fayette’s effort was led by match medalist Owen Lemley who had a 42 and Wyatt Mitchell added a 44.
Edgerton 177 Montpelier 191
Esten Kennerk bounced back from a six on the first hole to earn medalist honors with a 38 in Edgerton’s win over Montpelier at Suburban Golf Course. Kaden Kennerk had a 42, Nate Swank a 46, and Braden Leppelmeier came home with a 51 to give the Bulldogs a team score of 177. Drake Sommer’s 39 and a 45 by Trent Thorp led the way for the Locos.
Swanton 175 Maumee 194
Swanton improved their dual match record to 6-0 with a 175-194 win over the Panthers at Valleywood Golf Course. Mazin Rukieh and Ryan O’Shea were co-medalists by each shooting a 42, Garrett Swank had a 45 while Lucas Bloom and Adam Lemon each had a 46.
Archbold 156 Tinora 187
A blistering 33 (-3) by Luke Rosebrook and a 35 (-1) from Cahle Roth paced Archbold to the win over Tinora at Ironwood Golf Course. The Bluestreaks scoring was rounded out by Zane Behnfeldt with a 42 and River Ryan added a 46.

Kinsey Word fired a 44 as the Locos dropped a dual match to Edgerton at Suburban Golf Course. Mandy Taylor and Taylor Bard were next with 55s and Bobby Kreischer carded a 60.
Archbold 218 Patrick Henry 259 Miller City (no team score)
Brayton Huffman followed her school record last week by posting Archbold’s low score with a 46 at Pike Run Golf Course in wins over Patrick Henry and Miller City. Carly Grime followed Huffman with a 50, Allie Bickel shot a 54, and Aniyah Copeland added a 68. Chelsea Erford of Miller City was match medalist with a 44.

Wauseon 188 Evergreen 251 Rossford (no team score)
Wauseon’s Halle Frank led everybody with a 41 as the Lady Indians knocked off Evergreen and Rossford in a tri-match at Woodlawn Golf Course in Adrian, MI. Calaway Gerken had a 47 for Wauseon, Jordan King tallied a 48, and Ashley Fisher shot a 52. Chloe Creque paced Evergreen with a 49 and Emma Vaculik recorded a 60.

Wauseon moved to 2-0 on the season led by Macy Gerig who had four goals in a 10-1 rout of Otsego. Abby Smith, Aairyah Hallett, Teagan Rupp, Kasmyn Carroll, Rylee Vasvery, and Kadence Carroll each found the net for Wauseon.

Evergreen 2 Springfield 2
Paige Radel got the Vikings off to a fast start by scoring just 12 seconds into the match and Sydney Woodring scored five minutes before halftime to give Evergreen (0-1-1) a 2-0 lead. The homestanding Blue Devils were able to battle back though and get two goals in the second half to earn a 2-2 tie.
