The Hilltop Cadets JV team was narrowly defeated as the Fairview Apaches came away with the 32-31 victory.
The two teams were tied at nine at the end of the first quarter. The Cadets were able to gain a 20-15 lead by halftime. Fairview would bring the game to within one point by the end of the third quarter, as Hilltop would only would a 26-25 lead. In the final quarter, Hilltop would be narrowly outscored 7-5, but that would be enough to give Fairview the 32-32 win.
Roesner scored ten points for the Cadets, which lead the team. Also scoring for Hilltop was Douglass with eight, Zuver putting up six, Reeves scoring five, and Geiser rounding out the team’s scoring with two.
