On Friday and Saturday, March 15 & 16, the Hilltop High School Music Department will be presenting the Enchanted Version of Cinderella at 7:30 P.M. both evenings on the stage in the school commons. The enchanted version is a modern adaptation of the original Cinderella stage show using more up to date language while still retaining some of the well-known music from the original. Cinderella will be played by Emily Philibert and her Prince Charming is Travis Haynes. The supporting cast includes Cinderella’s stepmother played by Drew Murray with Kelly Geis and Rissa Goosman as the stepsisters, Grace and Joy. The fairy godmother (no tutu or wand—“been there, done that, honey”) is portrayed by Victoria Long. Rounding out the speaking cast is J. D. Nathan as Lionel, the royal steward, Braddon Williams as the King and Brooke Chapin as the Queen. Of course, no musical production is complete without the hard-working background chorus and this has been a great group to work with. Tickets for Cinderella are available at the door and are priced at $8.00 per person age seven and up. Children under age seven will be admitted free.
