COURTHOUSE… The historic Paulding County courthouse in Paulding, Ohio, was completed in 1888. The structure was designed by architect Edward Oscar Fallis of Toledo, who also designed the current Williams County courthouse. Fallis designed at least 12 courthouses including those in Schuyler County, Ill., Montgomery County, Kansas, Kalamazoo, Monroe, and Lenawee counties in Michigan, and Noble County in Albion, Ind. Paulding County courthouse general contractor Rudy Erhart was part of the firm Malone Brothers & Erhart that built the Williams County courthouse from 1888 to 1891. This November 15, 2016 photograph of the Paulding County courthouse is from the Kevin Maynard collection.
