Hospice of Northwest Ohio has an immediate need for volunteers with a special skill set. If you are a licensed hairdresser or can sew, your assistance is needed to meet the needs of hospice patients and their families.
Haircare volunteers provide basic haircuts only for patients living in their homes or at nursing homes throughout Wood, Lucas, Fulton, Henry, Ottawa, and Monroe counties.
Sewing volunteers will assist with creating memory bears and pillows for families whose loved ones have passed away on our hospice program. Supplies and a pattern will be provided.
