BOYS BASKETBALL

VARSITY

Wauseon 43 Liberty Center 22

Wauseon shook off a slow start and hit seven three-pointers in the game on their way to a 43-22 win. Liberty Center jumped out to a 6-0 lead before the Indians responded with a 21-3 run to end the first half. Connar Penrod had 12 points for Wauseon (10-1, 2-0 in NWOAL) and Easton Delgado added 10.

Edgerton 51 Fairview 32

Edgerton outscored the Apaches 13-1 in the third quarter and pulled away for a 51-32 win. Craig Blue led the way for the Bulldogs (3-4, 2-1 in GMC) with 13 points and Corey Everetts added 11.

Evergreen d. Delta 37-22

Archbold d. Bryan 48-38

Patrick Henry d. Swanton 56-16

Fairview d. Edgerton 36-21

Fayette d. Pettisville 20-18

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hilltop 46 North Central 36

Hilltop led 22-18 at halftime and then used a 15-5 advantage in the third quarter to get the win at North Central. Leanna Baker paced Hilltop (7-4, 5-1 in BBC) with 12 points and Kodi Brenner had 11. North Central (5-5, 3-4) was led by 13 points from Madison Brown.

Montpelier 53 Edon 30

Ariel Page tallied 17 points and Jessi Bumb had 13 to lead Montpelier (9-1, 4-0 in BBC) past Edon 53-30 and remain undefeated in the BBC. Carlie Kiess finished with 10 points for Edon (2-6, 1-3).

Wauseon 60 Liberty Center 50

The Lady Indians outscored Liberty Center 22-6 at the foul line and had four players in double figures to hold off the Tigers 60-50. Autumn Pelok had 14 points to lead Wauseon (9-3, 2-1 in NWOAL) followed by Haley Meyer with 13, Chelsie Raabe had 12, and Marisa Seiler added 11.

Liberty Center d. Wauseon 44-20

BOYS BOWLING

Delta 2178 Tinora 2078

Kaden Hawkins fired a 418 (199+219) and Brody Waugh added a 405 (226+179) as Delta snuck by Tinora 2,178-2,078. The Panthers led 1,743-1,685 after match play and won the Baker Games 435-393 to secure the win.

Bryan 2534 Patrick Henry 2434

Bryan kept themselves in the league race as they defeated first-place Patrick Henry 2,534-2,434. Dominic Boothman was high man for the Bears with a 489 (276+213), Caleb Muhe had a 441 (218+223), and Matt Meade tallied a 414 (235+179).

Liberty Center 2501 Wauseon 2052

Liberty Center’s Landon Amstutz posted a 481 series, including a 278 in game two, to lead the Tigers to the win over Wauseon. Ryan Marks had games of 148 and 212 for a 360 series to top the Indians.

Evergreen 2402 Swanton 1911

Ethan Shively had the hot hand for Evergreen with a 223 followed by a 245 as Evergreen knocked off Swanton. Derek Cobb was next for the Vikings with a 409 (213+196) series and David Fuller added a 383 (214+169). Marty Mosher topped Swanton with a 343 (133+210).

GIRLS BOWLING

Swanton 2073 Evergreen 1891

Ivy Serres had a 200 in game one and Amy Lawson posted a 323 (163+160) series to lead Swanton past Evergreen. Keigan Shuster rolled a 342 (189+153) to lead the Lady Vikings.

Bryan 2112 Patrick Henry 1896

Gabriella Bany fired a 401 (215+186) as Bryan improved to 9-1 in league play after their win over Patrick Henry. Faith Harding chipped in with a 373 (193+180) for the Lady Bears.

Delta 1608 Tinora 1225

Delta won the Baker Games 347-251 to pull away and get the win over Tinora. Lexi Brown led Delta with a 278 (142+136) and Ciarra Flickinger added a 263 (148+115).

Wauseon 2153 Liberty Center 1989

Quinnlynn Roha had a 389 (190+199) to lead a balanced Wauseon attack to the win over Liberty Center. Rachel Carr was next for Wauseon with a 381 (203+178) and Danielle Carr had a 348 (165+183).
