VARSITY

Hilltop 46 Edon 17

Hilltop stayed within a game of first-place Montpelier with a 46-17 victory at Edon. Mia Hancock paced a balanced Hilltop (9-4, 7-1 in BBC) attack with 10 points while Sydney Bignell had five points to lead Edon (5-7, 4-4).

Fayette 34 Pettisville 30


Fayette’s Jensyn Robinson hit three from long range and totaled a game-high 14 points to lead the Lady Eagles past Pettisville 34-30. Trista Fruchey added 13 for Fayette (2-6, 1-4 in BBC), who owned a 40-31 advantage on the boards. Pettisville (0-14, 0-8) was led by Ellie Grieser with nine points.

Montpelier 41 Stryker 19

Montpelier shook off a slow start by outscoring Stryker (4-9, 3-5 in BBC) 15-2 in the third quarter to pull away for the win. Ariel Page led Montpelier (14-1, 8-0) with five field goals and three foul shots for 13 points and Chelsea McCord had 12. Stryker’s Sage Woolace went 7/9 from the free throw line and added four field goals for a game-high 15 points.


Ayersville 62 Edgerton 24

Ayersville (7-10, 4-1 in GMC) raced to a 34-11 lead at halftime and then outscored Edgerton 17-0 in the third quarter to put the game away. Addie Cape registered seven points to lead Edgerton (1-15, 0-5).

Wauseon 65 Evergreen 45


The Lady Indians led 16-9 after one quarter and then 33-13 at halftime as they picked up the NWOAL win over Evergreen. Marisa Seiler had a game-high 24 points for Wauseon (11-5, 3-2 in NWOAL) followed by Hayley Meyer with 16 and Autumn Pelok added 14. Bekah Bowser tallied 13 points to lead the Evergreen (6-11, 0-5) effort and Morgan Foster had 10.

Swanton 34 Liberty Center 27

Swanton used a 14-4 first quarter and then a 14-9 fourth quarter to grind out a 34-27 win at Liberty Center. Averie Lutz scored 12 while Aricka Lutz and Frankie Nelson each had nine for Swanton (13-5, 4-1 in NWOAL).

Delta 50 Archbold 45

Brooklyn Green led three Lady Panthers in double figures with 16 points as Delta got a 50-45 win at Archbold. Delta (10-5, 3-1 in NWOAL) led 23-16 at halftime before a second half run gave Archbold a brief lead. The Lady Panthers responded with two three-pointers and were 13/16 from the foul line on the night to close out the win.

Joining Green in double figures was Reagan Rouleau with 12 and Brooklyn Wymer had 10. Archbold (9-7, 2-2) was paced by Addie Ziegler with 16 and Karsyn Hostetler had 12.


Bryan 52 Patrick Henry 17

Bryan took another step toward a league title as they cruised past the Lady Patriots. Shallyn Miley led the Bryan (13-3, 4-0 in NWOAL) offense with nine buckets and two free throws for 20 points.

Ottawa Hills had three players in double figures and connected on nine triples as a team in the win at North Central. Landon Justice had six points for the Eagles (3-11).

Pettisville d. Fayette 30-28
