Jerry L. Leupp, age 80, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was a United States Army veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance at Young Spring & Wire until it closed, then worked at Allied Moulded until he retired.
Jerry was an active member of the Wauseon VFW Post 7424, where he served many years as Commander and Honor Guard Commander, and the Wauseon American Legion Post 265.
He was very active for many years with the VFW in parades and patriotic ceremonies in and around the community. Jerry also loved hunting and camping in his spare time.
Jerry L. Leupp was born on July 13, 1945, in German Township, Ohio, the son of William and Velma (Leininger) Leupp. He graduated from Archbold High School. Jerry married Marsha A. Sevrence on Sept. 18, 1971, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his son, Christopher (Tanya) Leupp, and daughter, Nicole Leupp, both of Archbold; six grandchildren, Gabby, Kaylee, Starr, Bryan, Erica and Eddie; two great-grandchildren, Markus and Juniper, and his sister, Susie Burk, of Morenci, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Leupp.
Graveside services with military rites provided by the Fulton County Honor Guard will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Archbold.
Krill Funeral Service, 860 W. Mulberry, Bryan, Ohio, has been entrusted with Jerry’s services.
Memorials in honor of Jerry may be given to the Fulton County Honor Guard, c/o Wauseon VFW Post 7424, 1133 N. Ottokee St., Wauseon, OH 43567.
