Jesse M. Fonseca, age 79, of Wauseon, passed away on October 10, 2023, at the Toledo Hospital. Jesse drove truck for many years.
Jesse was born on January 19, 1944, in Wauseon, to the late Nicholas and Fanny (Mendieta) Fonseca. Jesse was a collector of all things. He liked cars and fishing. Jesse was a social person who loved cookouts with friends and family and was well known with the Wauseon McDonalds morning coffee group.
Surviving Jesse is his son, David (Mary) Fonseca of Stryker; son, Timothy (Elaine) Fonseca of Atlanta, MI; son, Jesse Fonseca (Melissa), Jr. of Toledo; and daughter, Victoria Fonseca of Adrian, MI. He is also survived by his beloved, Teresa Ruple; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and siblings, Nicholas Fonseca, and Gloria Salinas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jessica Lee Smith; son, Ishmael Fonseca; grandchild, Angel Craston; and siblings, Julius Fonseca and Phyllis Maldonado.
