John Aragon (1943 – 2017)

John Clarence Aragon, 59 years, of Bryan, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 24, 2017 at his residence.

John was born May 24, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of the late Joseph “Max” Aragon. He was a graduate of High School. John was a former DJ at “The Edge” 104.7 in Albuquerque, New Mexico for five years. He also was a machinist at several area factories, retiring due to his health. He attended New Life Worship Center in Bryan.

John enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to classic rock music, playing video games and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his four children, Deisaray Swallows of Clarksville, Tennessee, Isaac (Ruthie) Brenneman of Archbold, John C. Aragon II of Bryan and Angela Metz of Montpelier; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Aragon.

Memorial services for John Clarence Aragon will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Solid Rock Community Church, 102 Egly Drive, West Unity, with Pastor Randy Evers officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the church. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.


Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial donations be given to the Williams County Humane Society, 09464 County Road 13, Bryan, Ohio 43506.
