(Born In Montpelier, Ohio)

John Lee Keesbury, age 54, passed away unexpectedly in his home on December 10, 2024.

He was proudly born on the 4th of July 1970, in Montpelier, Ohio to Ronald Keesbury & Vicki McReynolds, who both preceded him in death.

John is survived by brother Keith Keesbury of Montpelier, Ohio, and sister Jenny Voigt & her husband Mike Voigt of Fort Wayne, Indiana, as well as stepfather Robert McReynolds of Spencerville, Indiana.

John was also a very loving uncle to nieces Kiersten Nieman (wife of Jesse), Emily Kern (wife of Zachary), Sydney Keesbury, and Natalie Voigt, and to nephews Trenten Keesbury and Jared Voigt.

They were always drawn to him, especially when they were little. He was quiet but somehow, they knew he adored them, and they constantly crawled all over him, and he loved every minute of it. He was so very proud to be their uncle and happy to be their playmate all the years that they were growing up.

There was no one else in the world quite like John. He was quirky and goofy, and at times, wildly inappropriate and not politically correct at all.

But he was also responsible, a hard worker, a proud American, a music lover, and a lover of animals, hiking, bicycling and all things nature & outdoors.

He absolutely loved to go fishing and camping more than anything, especially with his brother and very best friend Keith.

If you knew John, you knew he was different, but you also knew his heart was pure and huge and absolutely full of love for his entire family. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family, and he will be forever missed by all who loved him.

Private family arrangements are being made and will be revealed at a later date.
