Juanita E. Clark (1947-2012)

Juanita E. Clark, 65 of Montpelier died Friday at Parkview Medical Center in Fort Wayne Indiana. She was born July 9th 1947 in Bryan to Harvey “Jr.” and Billie Joan (Mansfield) Scott. Juanita graduated from Montpelier High School in 1965 and Stautzenberger Business College in 1966 with an executive secretary degree. On September 14, 1974 she married Richard “Ric” Clark Jr. in Montpelier.
Juanita was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Montpelier. She was extremely active in her church being a member of the Altar Guild, Prayer Chain, Church Choir, and Parrish Ed, St. John’s Women of the Church and the secretary of the Church Council.
Juanita was a homemaker who in recent years worked as an office worker and a substitute aide at Montpelier Schools. She was also an active mentor to students at Montpelier Schools. She was also a board member of the See and Do Club of Montpelier.
Juanita is survived by her husband Ric, daughter Kristen (Edward) Ewers of Montpelier, son David (Jennifer) Clark of Cincinnati, brother Nelson E. Scott of Gardiner Montana, sister Barbara Turner of Pioneer, and four grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law Richard Turner.
Visitation for Juanita will be Tuesday November 20th from 2-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will be Wednesday at 10:30am at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Montpelier with Pastor Paul Gruetter to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
