Judith Auxer (1941-2018)

Judith K. Auxer, age 76, of Stryker, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Prior to her retirement in 2008, she had worked for Fulton Tubing – ITT Higbie in Archbold for 45 years.

Judith was born in Waterloo, Indiana on December 27, 1941, the daughter of Junior and Naomi (Johnson) Schlosser. She was a member of the United Brethren Church in Stryker.

Judith graduated from Stryker High School in 1959. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She had many close friends that she had worked with.

Surviving is a son, Rick (Tonya) Ordway of Stryker; daughter, Kathy (Larry) Davis of Archbold; grandchildren, Dustin (Crystal) Blevins, Zachary (Kaitlyn) Blevins, Sophia (Logan) Miller and Selena (Joey) Osborne; great-grandchildren, Kalista, Mallori, Averey, Mackenzie, Creed, Hunter, Maddie, Lendrix, Lucy, and Landon. She is also survived by two sisters, Joan (Larry) Gorsuch of West Unity, Kay (Don) Carroll of Stryker and sister-in-law, Bobbi Schlosser of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Schlosser.

Visitation for Judith will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the United Brethren Church, 104 E. Short St., Stryker, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, also at the church, with Pastor Nick Woodall, officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan.


The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Stryker United Brethren Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker has been entrusted with arrangements.
