Karen Annette Heath of Wauseon, Ohio passed away in her home peacefully on January 12, 2022, with her family by her side.

She was born on July 11, 1959 to Patsy R. and Fredrick I. Heath in Logansport, IN. Karen shared her tremendous ability to care for others, not only to every person she met but in her work as well.

She worked in multiple medical facilities, hospitals, and homes. She very much enjoyed people, traveling, her family, and her beloved four legged companions, Harley Blue, Gracie, and Coco.

She also enjoyed reading, movies, cross stitching, sewing, and ceramic painting.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Kathy Heath of Wauseon; sister, Rhonda Turnbull of Wisconsin; sister, Robin (Bob) Halling of Iowa; brother, Mike Heath of Wauseon; and granddaughter, Kira Tanner of Wauseon. She was GG to Adalynn, Emery, and Oakley. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; sister, Penny Stites; brother, Joe (Arthur) Collins; and brother-in-law, Bruce Turnbull.

Visitation for Karen will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 1pm-8pm at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. A funeral service will take place the following day, January 15, 2022 at 11am at the First Church of God in Wauseon with Pastor Maryann Reimund officiating. A luncheon will follow a procession to the Wauseon Union Cemetery at the VFW in Wauseon. The family asks that people bring three individual flowers to place on the graves of Karen’s mother, sister, and brother at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the benevolence of the family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home of Wauseon has been entrusted with the arrangements.

The obituary has been lovingly prepared by the family of Karen in her memory.
