Kathleen Helen Bolyard passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at the age of 62, in Toledo, Ohio. Kathy was born on March 13, 1958 to Fred & Sylvia (Poturalski) Bolyard, as the youngest daughter.

Kathy was a graduate of Swanton High School, class of ’76. She worked various jobs over the years, but found most enjoyment in her time working Environmental with her brothers, often reminiscing about the memories that were made during that time.

She loved to spend time dancing and listening to music with her family and friends. She had a keen sense of humor and a recognizable laugh.

Through her years, she found comfort in her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and she knew He had carried her through the various difficulties and struggles of her life.

She looked forward to being able to hold her infant child, Jamie, who left this world too early at 9 months old in 1981. In her recent years, Kathy’s heart was made happy by hearing all the stories about her grandchildren.

In addition to her son Jamie, Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Fred & Sylvia (Poturalski) Bolyard; brothers, Fred (Dawn) Bolyard, Phil (Vicki) Bolyard, John (Kim) Bolyard; sisters, Mary (Brad) Symington, Nora Ludwig; Children, Joe (Lori) Bolyard, Amanda (Tim) Rabara; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Isaiah, Laila, Landon, Eli and Isabella.

Services are pending at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Backpack Buddies of Swanton Public Schools.
