Kathy Lynn Haupricht, 67, of Metamora, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home on May 29, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Willard, Ohio on February 23rd, 1954.

Kathy worked nineteen years for the Kroger company where she impacted the lives of co-workers and customers alike. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a big heart. Shoppers would gladly wait in a longer line just to share a few moments with their favorite cashier.

Kathy was an outstanding cook and homemaker. She enjoyed decorating with country decor, and especially loved creating a cozy space for the holidays. Kathy spoiled all the birds that visited her yard with birdhouses and treats, enjoying their company while she spent time outdoors.

She had a large family and loved all her children and grandchildren very much.

Kathy is survived by her children, Chad (Amy) Haupricht; Kelly (Greg) Okdie; Mark Anthony (Stephanie) Haupricht; Brandy (Jeff) Adams; Jamie (Karras) Gordon; Joseph Frost; stepchildren, Mike (Sarah) Frost; Jason Frost; Lori (George) Kreamer; fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Ken) Kay, Linda (Ralph) Hohn, and Donna Lykins; close friend, Laura (Al) Frost.

Kathy is preceded in death by father Harry Green; mother Kathryn (Whitiker) Tackett; former spouse and father of eldest three children, Theodore Haupricht; former companion and father of youngest three children, Roger E. Frost; sisters, Colleen (Albert) Parker, and Brenda Lykins; brothers, Gary and Larry Lawrence, and Ronnie Lykins; and beloved dog, Ernie.

A Memorial will be held on Monday, June 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Weigel Funeral Home located at 413 E. Main St. Metamora, OH 43540.

Kathy will be laid to rest in Amboy Township Cemetery. Online expressions of sympathy may be made at www.weigelfuneralhomes.com
