Kristy Ann Cowden, age 50, of Delta, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on Feb. 2, 1976, to Ronald R. Fradette and Pamela (Jewel) Fradette, who both survive.
Kristy was a 1994 graduate of Rogers High School and later attended the University of Toledo. For 18 years, she dedicated her career to human resources at Plastic Technologies Inc. in Toledo, where she was respected for her professionalism and compassionate nature.
On Sept. 25, 2014, Kristy married the love of her life, Timothy M. Cowden. Together they shared many memorable adventures and built a life centered on love and family.
Kristy found joy in crafting, visiting thrift stores, and spending quiet evenings at home listening to her cherished record collection. She will always be remembered for her loving and generous spirit, consistently putting the needs of others before her own.
Her selfless heart and contagious smile filled every room she entered and left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Kristy’s positive and nurturing nature extended to her love of animals, especially her three beloved feline companions, Freddie, Maggie, and Quinn.
She proudly served as the current Auxiliary President of the Delta Eagles #2597, where she formed many treasured friendships and gave generously of her time.
Kristy’s legacy will live on through her devoted husband, Timothy M. Cowden; her parents, Ronald (Cheryl) Fradette and Pamela Fradette; daughters, Kayla Ann Rose Barrett of Bowling Green, Ohio, and MaKenzie Lynn Clark of Toledo; son, Dustin Owen (Marissa Longenecker) Cowden of Toledo; brother, Timothy (Tiffany) Fradette of Toledo; grandson, Andon Jay Clark; nephew, Jeremy Fradette; nieces, Hailee and Genna Fradette; and countless close friends who were blessed to know her.
Interment will be private. A celebration of Kristy’s life will be held at the Delta Eagles at a later date to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 State Highway 109 in Delta.
