Larry D. Wright, age 76, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 11:41 A.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, after a brief illness.
Mr. Wright was a 1961 graduate of Bryan High School, where he excelled in football, receiving many honors. He spent a lifetime repairing electric motors, having been employed at REMS/Siemens Electric Motors, and was self-employed at SS & M Sales until his retirement. Larry enjoyed traveling to Michigan with his wife, gardening, fishing, woodworking, and tinkering on all kinds of machines.
Larry D. Wright was born on May 1, 1942, in LaGrange, Indiana, the son of Dale and Clarice (Slagle) Wright. He married Myra Dee Livensparger on September 27, 1964, in Bryan, and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Steven D. (Sandi) Wright, Stan R. Wright and Michael L. (Vickie) Wright, all of Bryan; his beloved grandchildren, Amy, Alex, Britany, Alexandra, and Marissa; and four great-grandchildren, Serenity, Jocelyn, Gracelyn and Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 12:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Interment will be in Shiffler Cemetery near Bryan.
