Leland B. Counts, age 75, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Leland retired as a project manager from Industrial Fluid Management. He loved to travel and take road trips in his convertible with his wife. Leland was an avid reader, kept a meticulous lawn and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Leland B. Counts was born on December 4, 1948, in Indio, California, the son of the late Buford and Wanda (Carnes) Counts. He married Lou Ann Armstrong in Cancun, Mexico on May 17, 2006 and she survives.
Leland is also survived by a son, Brennan Counts, of California; daughter; Erin (Brian) DeGroff, of Edon; grandchildren, Dane, Samantha, Isabella, and Eliza DeGroff, all of Edon and Brianna Helton, of Oregon; brother, Steve (Cindy) Counts, of Florida; sisters, Robbie (George) Rhoades, of California and Christina Counts, of Florida; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Rev. H.B. Glenn.
In accordance with Leland’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held. Krill Funeral Service, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, Ohio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
