Linda Lee Jackson, 79, of Pioneer, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, with her beloved husband by her side.
Born on February 5, 1945, in Bryan, Ohio, to Norman L. and Anita (Wallace) Snow, Linda met the love of her life, Charles Jackson, in Phoenix, Arizona, and they married on February 3, 1967, in Pioneer.
A proud graduate of North Central High School, Linda spent many years working as a nursing assistant.
She had a gift for staying connected with those she loved, often chatting for hours on the phone or keeping up with friends and family on Facebook.
Linda had a deep love for reading, especially poetry, and cherished the bonds she shared with her family. She was beyond proud of her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephew’s accomplishments.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles; sisters, Laurie (Randy) Scott and Nancy (Jeffrey) Fackler; nieces and nephews, Joshua (significant other, Nicki Cogswell) Wehrle, Lanie (Jim) Govang, Jessica (Jamie) Mendez, and Alan (Jennifer) Fackler, and Lucas (significant other, Hannah Ferber) Fackler; Ginnie Rose, and Chuck Rose, numerous great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jessica Douglas and Tina Weaver. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara (Barry) Sitko.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pioneer Fire Department and EMS.
Linda’s warmth, love, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held at a later date which is to be determined.
