Lloyd “Bub” Dale Baun, Jr., age 61, of Delta, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, September 14, 2015 at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. He was born in Wauseon on July 25, 1954 to Lloyd Dale Baun, Sr., who survives and the late Eleanor (Gruber) Baun.
Lloyd worked as a machinist for Bunting Bearings of Delta for over forty years. Bub was a member of the Delta Eagles Order #2597. He was an avid guitarist, performing in various bands and playing practical jokes on friends and family. Bub married Kimberly Skiles on July 25, 1987 and she survives.
Also surviving are six children, Angel Baun, Jason (Melanie) Baun, Jerrod Baun, Amber Bachelder, Shelby (Nicholas) Peters and Tyler (Taylor) Baun; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Mark (Tina) Baun and Mike (Beth) Baun; four sisters, Vicki (Gene) Heath, Karen (Les) Lulfs, Linda (Ed) Whittenmyer and Conni (Tom) Zedlitz. Bub was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor, and an infant daughter, Trina.
Receiving of family and friends will be from 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.; with a memorial service celebrating Bub’s life being held at 4:00 PM. Pastor Don Barnett will be officiating.
