Dental Excellence Group will host Smiles From the Heart, its 15th annual free dentistry day, across four locations: Napoleon (April 10), Delta (April 17), Maumee (April 17), and Sylvania (April 24).
Smiles From the Heart is one of the ways Dental Excellence gives back to the communities it serves. Rooted in compassion, dignity, and service, the event reflects the organization’s belief that access to care matters.
During the event, the Dental Excellence team will volunteer their time to provide free dental services to community members in need.
“This is our favorite event of the year,” said Dr. Michael Carpenter, owner and founding dentist of Dental Excellence Group.
“Over the years, this event has allowed us to care for hundreds of individuals who might otherwise go without treatment. Oral health is a vital part of overall health, and the opportunity to prevent pain and more serious conditions for those facing barriers to care is incredibly rewarding for our team.”
Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. at each location and is limited to:
-100 patients in Napoleon
-50 patients in Delta and Sylvania
-30 patients in Maumee
Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis and may choose one free service: a cleaning, filling, or extraction. Due to high demand, a line is expected to form before registration begins. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.
Dr. Carpenter has been in practice for more than 25 years and leads Dental Excellence offices in Napoleon, Delta, Sylvania, Maumee, and Bowling Green.
The organization provides comprehensive dental services, including general and family dentistry, sedation dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, and wisdom teeth extractions.
