Lucille Carlin (1934-2021)

Lucille B Carlin, age 86, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, 2021.  Mrs. Carlin was a member of the Pulaski United Methodist Church, National Cattlewomens Association and the Ohio Cattlewomens Association, where she served as president in 1988-1989.

Lucille was born on November 30, 1934 in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of George L. and Mildred (Scott) Clark.  She married Wayne E. Carlin on September 10, 1951 in Bryan and he survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Doug (Charmaine) Carlin, of Stryker, Barb (Tom) Saul, of Bryan and Ron (Julie) Carlin, of Reading, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Kenzie, Tracy, Tiffany, Nathan, David, James, Lisa, Denise and Chris and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold Clark.

Lucille’s visitation will be on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.  Services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Ted Mathes officiating.  Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.


Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions.  The family requests visitors use masks in accordance with state mandates.  Anyone showing any symptoms of illness is asked to please share condolences by a phone call, email, text message, or leaving a condolence at the funeral home website.
